  • Good to know

    There are two halves to MetricMint, and they are set up separately. Half one: the WordPress plugin adds small pieces of tracking code to your website so services like Google Analytics can count your visitors. Half two: this website shows you those numbers, which means giving MetricMint permission to read your Google account. Doing the first half does not do the second. That is why your site can be counting visitors perfectly while your dashboard here looks empty or out of date.

    1. Install the plugin on your WordPress site and turn on the tools you want. Your visitors start being counted.
    2. Create an account here and link your website to it.
    3. Give MetricMint permission to read your Google Analytics and Search Console. Your numbers appear on the dashboard.
    4. If the dashboard ever looks stale, it is almost always step three that needs redoing. Your website keeps counting either way.

Use the WordPress admin email of the website where MetricMint is installed (Settings → General → Administration Email Address) — not your purchase or checkout email. We show the domain(s) that site registered with (read-only).

Frequently asked questions

No. MetricMint adds no database tables and does no extra work when someone loads a page. The tracking codes you switch on do add a small amount of weight, but that is Google's and Microsoft's code, and it weighs exactly the same whether MetricMint adds it or you paste it in by hand. If anything, sites usually get faster after installing it, because MetricMint replaces three or four separate tracking plugins.
